Inspirational Quotes I’ve Been Loving Lately, II

Hello all!

So, I did a post like this a couple of months back. I shared a few quotes that had been inspiring me at the time and talked about what I found great about each of them.

I had a lot of fun writing that post. And it was kind of interesting for me to put all of those inspirational messages into one space. I love that I have it to look back on whenever I’m ever in need of a motivational boost.

That being said, today I wanted to do an updated version of quotes that have been inspiring me lately. I think that I might throw one of these up here every now and then. Not only do these posts give me the chance to keep my favorite quotes cataloged, they also allow me to share them with all of you. Hopefully you find some inspiration in these—I know they have been a big help to me.

“Don’t expect to see a change if you don’t make one.”

To me, this is a really important concept because it’s something that I think a lot of us (myself included) tend to forget.

When it comes down to it, we can’t expect things in our lives to change for the better unless we’ve actively tried to change them. In order for things to happen, they have to be set in motion. The best thing we can do for ourselves is search for ways in which we can catalyze change. Putting in the effort to do things differently is what is going to make change happen.

“Success is a series of small wins.”

I really love this quote for about a billion different reasons. But what draws me to it the most is that the message behind it is something that I always try and keep with me when I set goals for myself.

It’s important to remember that every big achievement is composed of little successes. When it comes down to it, success is a process. And you should take things one at a time rather than all at once.

“Failure is not the opposite of success. It’s a part of success.”

Despite the fact that they seem like polar opposites, failure and success are inherently connected. No successes ever come without failures. And in order to achieve something, you must be willing to fail. It’s a great thing to keep in mind if you’re ever feeling defeated. And it reiterates the fact that setbacks (no matter how big or small they are) are all part of the process.

“If you can’t stop thinking about it, don’t stop working for it.”

I think this quote is a good way for you to determine exactly where your priorities lie. We all have things that we hope to accomplish. And those things tend to be what we spend our time thinking about.

If something is always on your mind, make it your number one priority. You owe it to yourself to continue working at it until you’ve achieved it. Shape your thoughts into goals and be persistent in going after them.

“Do not compare yourself to others.”

I feel like this one is particularly important when it comes to the world of blogging. It’s easy to get caught up in the numbers–to look at someone else’s success and wonder if you’re doing something wrong.

Despite those feelings of self-doubt and insecurity, we must remember that everyone has a different direction that they are supposed to take. The only person you should be comparing yourself to is yourself. You don’t need the negativity of comparing yourself to other people.

Thank you for reading! Enjoy the rest of your week!

  1. I love these types of posts! I always read quotes whenever I feel down and honestly they make me feel so much better. These are some great ones and I especially agree with the one about having to change your actions in order to see a change, it’s such a simple concept but something we all seem to forget! xx

  2. I love all of these quotes! I cannot recall the exact quote but it’s something along the lines of – stop thinking and do – encouraging people to stop overthinking things and just go for it! xx
