A few weekends ago, I picked up the Tarteist Pro To Go Amazonian Clay Palette. I’ve been testing out the shadows ever since, so today I thought I’d share my thoughts on them.
The Tarteist Pro To Go Amazonian Clay Palette is a travel size palette that contains six eyeshadows. The colors are on the bronze to neutral side, which makes them great for the upcoming warmer months. To me, there’s nothing more summery that a bronze eye look, so the tone of these shadows is perfect for the season. Three of the shadows are matte while the other three are shimmery. I think this makes for a good balance and allows you to create a wide variety of looks.
Another thing I’m very impressed by are the eyeshadows’ pigmentation. As you can see from the swatches, the colors come out vibrantly on skin. I’ve been especially pleased with “Hype” and “Boss,” which are the shimmery shades in the center. The colors remain bright all day long.
Additionally, I haven’t experienced any fallout with these shadows. My eyelids didn’t become greasy or oily while I had them on. The formula is extremely durable, even in severe conditions. It was fairly humid the first time I tried out this palette, but my eyeshadow didn’t budge. I was wearing my favorite eyeshadow primer (the Urban Decay Primer Potion), so I can’t attribute the longevity of the look entirely to the eyeshadows. However, I do believe that the formula was made to last a long time.
Overall, I’ve found the Tarteist Pro To Go Palette to be a worthwhile purchase. Its compact size is ideal for travel, and the balance between matte and shimmery eyeshadows makes it versatile. I’ll definitely be putting this in my makeup bag if I go on any trips this summer. The palette was clearly designed to be functional for people on the run.
