Let’s Catch Up, II

Hello, hello!

It’s been a minute since I’ve had the chance to sit down and write a blog post. I know it doesn’t seem that way since the majority of my content is written in advance (in fact, it’s late March at the time I’m writing this—yay for being ahead of schedule!) But it really has been a few weeks since I’ve gotten to pour myself a cup of coffee, settle into my favorite desk chair, and pull up a fresh new post. It’s a simple routine, though one I’ve missed dearly.

Anyway, since it has been a while, I thought this would be a good time to do another little catch up post. I did one of these after I took a short blogging break at the beginning of the year, and I felt like it was a good way to keep you all up-to-date with what’s been going on with me recently.

Like the last one of these, I did my best to photograph anything interesting that’s kept me busy.

Adoring spring fashion

One of most fun things that has been keeping me busy recently has been spring fashion. I’ve really been making an effort to try and amp up the fashion content on the blog these past couple of months. And now that it’s officially springtime, I’ve found it a lot easier to do so.

Taking OOTD photos during the winter proved to be something out of a nightmare. The cold weather made it hard for me to get the shots I wanted without going back inside freezing cold. But since it’s sunnier side, I’ve been more inclined to go out and shoot photos. I’m feeling very excited about the fashion content that will be coming to the blog over the next few months. Warm weather makes for a happy Paige!

Using the Bath & Body Works Aromatherapy Collection

Pay no attention to my super gross bathroom counter…

Something I’ve been absolutely LOVING (yes, the caps is completely necessary) recently has been the aromatherapy collection from Bath & Body Works. Before trying out a couple of body creams from this collection, I wasn’t a big fan of essential oils. But now that I’ve been using them, I think they’re great! My two favorites are Happiness (pictured above) and Stress Relief.

Loving the fact that it’s now socially acceptable for me to drink my coffee

Fun fact about me: If I’m drinking coffee, 9 times out of 10 it’s iced. I’m very dedicated to my cold brew. Even on the coldest days of winter, my Starbucks order never changes from a vanilla iced coffee with cream (though I do acquire some strange looks from passerby when I’m walking around with my iced drink in negative temperatures…)

Fawning over dark lipstick

While the season for dark lips may be over, I’ve yet to let go of my newfound love for deep shades like this one from Too Faced called “Strange Love.” The formula of the lipstick is a little bit messy. But other than that, I have no complaints. It’s fun, and it makes a statement.

Spending time with Ellie

There’s nothing better than spending time with a beloved pet, right?

Planning summer content

Processed with VSCO with a6 preset

I don’t know about you, but I’m very excited for summer! I’ve got a lot of new blog ideas swirling around my head, and I can’t wait to put them into action. I think this will be a pretty great summer for Currently, Lately.

Thank you for reading! I hoped you enjoyed catching up as much as I did!

What have you been up to lately?
