My March Favorites

Remember how I said in my recent collective favorites that I didn’t think I could ever do a monthly installment of my favorite things because they don’t change very often? Well, this past month that totally changed. That always seems to happen, doesn’t it? One day you adamantly believe something, the next that belief is completely different.

I tried out a fresh new wave of things in March, so today I wanted to give you all a quick at the items I’ve been loving. Favorites posts are always super enjoyable to write because they feel so current and personable. This post (and others in the future) will be a hodgepodge of makeup, fashion, and other miscellaneous items that have caught my attention recently. Anyways, let’s begin.

Sorry for the random featured image. I didn’t have the time to make an appropriate graphic, but I didn’t want to leave it blank.

If you know anything about me, you know that I love accessorizing with chunky jewelry. To me, there’s nothing quite as bold and exciting as a large statement necklace or bracelet. This March, I’ve been fawning over this gorgeous necklace from INC. The pearl and chain detailing is perfect combination of casual and dressy. Excitingly enough, when I went to add the link I discovered that this necklace is currently on sale for $6.99! If you like it, I’d definitely recommend checking it out.

If you saw my Sephora Play review, you may already know that I’ve been loving the products I received in my March box. Benefit’s Watts Up! highlighter has been one of them. This highlighter is both versatile and blendable. You can create bright, eye-catching highlights or toned down natural looks.

Also from my Sephora Play box is another favorite: Glamglow’s Mega Illuminating Moisturizer. This moisturizer smells fantastic and leaves my skin feeling fresh and rejuvenated. I like to apply it before I put on my foundation and also on days that I wear no makeup.

This one is kind of bizarre, but flatlays with a poster board background have been some of my favorite things this March. While I normally opt for a marble background, this month I wanted to change things up a bit. I decided to switch to poster board every now and then, and I’m very happy with the results. Poster boards looks really great underneath products and gives colors a nice pop.

It should come to no surprise that I drank an insane amount of iced coffee this month. I had a pretty busy schedule in March, and caffeine is pretty much what kept me going throughout it.

A few weeks ago, I made these pecan pie cookies and I was so excited with how they turned out that I wrote a blog post on it. They’re light and airy and they make for the perfect dessert.

That concludes this installment of my monthly favorites. I realize that this post is pretty eclectic, but it’s pretty much a summary of my month. If you like these sort of posts, let me know. I hope you enjoyed reading!

What are some of your monthly favorites?

Sincerely,

Paige
