Skincare products i can’t get enough of

When I decided to start blogging again, I knew one of the first things I wanted to talk about was skincare.

I used to write about skincare all the time on here. In fact, I got so used to it that even when I wasn’t blogging, I was still in the mindset of “Oh, I need to do a post about this” every time I found a new product that I loved.

My skincare routine has changed a lot since the last time I did a skincare post, so I thought it’d be fun to share a few products I’ve been into recently. Here’s a list of my favorite skincare finds from the last year or so.

Pacifica Glow Baby Super Lit Booster Serum

Last spring, my skin was going through a serious dry period. On a whim, I picked up this serum during a random trip to Ulta, and it ended up being one of my favorite skincare purchases ever. Since I started using it, my skin has been noticeably softer. Like, life-changingly noticeable. I’ve always had dry skin, and I’ve tried about every product under the sun for it, but this is one of the first products I can say had a dramatic effect after a couple uses.

Seriously, I can’t stress enough how GOOD this product is.

I mix a couple drops of the serum with my moisturizer before I go to bed. I know it’s the serum having the effect because I’ve switched moisturizers since adding the serum to my skincare routine. The bottle lasts a decent amount of time since you only need a small amount per use. 10/10 recommend for anyone with dry skin.

Tarte Sugar Rush – Cake Butter Whipped Body Butter

While we’re on the subject of moisturizers, let’s talk about my favorite body butter. I started using this one from Tarte back in February. It’s scented like sugar plum, really long lasting, and it soaks into your skin without leaving that gross, greasy feeling that some body butters/moisturizers do. The jar contains a little more than 10 ounces of product, which lasts a while for me. I like keeping a jar of it on my beside table.

The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution

OK, so you’ve probably definitely seen this product before on TikTok or another blog, but I promise it’s worth the hype. I use this peel about once a week. It leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth, which makes for easy makeup application. The bottle says you shouldn’t leave it on for more than 10 minutes. My skin felt a little tingly the first couple times I used it, but I didn’t have any burning or irritation. If you have sensitive skin though, I’d be careful about how long you leave it on.

Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Cleanser & Makeup Remover

Though I haven’t worn much makeup in the last year, I did spend a few months experimenting with eyeshadow during quarantine. I started using this cleansing water, and it’s quickly become my favorite makeup remover.

I’m pretty picky when it comes to makeup remover, as I can’t stand any that are oil based. Making the switch to a water-based product has been such a great change to my skincare routine because it doesn’t leave my skin feeling greasy afterward.

Thanks for reading! 🙂

What are some of your favorite skincare products?

Sincerely,

Paige
