November Favorites!

HAPPY DECEMBER!

I hope your November was filled with lots of fun and lots of pumpkin. Mine was pretty hectic because I was gearing up for blogmas and trying to get as much holiday shopping done as humanely possible. But overall, it was a good month.

As I was trying to decide what to do for today’s post, I came to the realization that I haven’t done a favorites post since July. How is that even possible?!? I love sharing my favorites because I feel like it’s a good way to catch up. Hence why I’ll be sharing them today!

Free People polka dot skirt* – Hi, my name is Paige, and if you didn’t already know, I am a sucker for anything (and everything) featuring black-and-white polka dots. I picked up this skirt a little while back (after several months of mild internet stalking), and it has remained a staple of my wardrobe ever since. It was a lot more expensive than I would normally pay for a skirt, but I managed to grab it during a sale for 30 percent off. I love everything about it. The length. The pattern. The buttons. It’s my absolute favorite thing right now.

Color block boots* – Like most people, I love a good pair of boots for the fall. These are my current go-tos. I can’t get enough of the mix between the brown faux leather and the black faux leather. I feel like it’s a combination that shouldn’t work but somehow does. Plus, they match everything. I’ve had so much fun figuring out different ways to style them.

My coat – This might sound weird, but I almost lost my coat earlier this month, and for some reason it made me appreciate it, like, a million times more. I’ve had this coat for two or three years now. It’s cute and it’s versatile, which is really all you can ask for in a coat. Consider it now fully appreciated.

knitting post

Knitting – KNITTING IS THE BEST. I picked up the hobby about four months ago, and I’ve been doing it nonstop ever since. It’s a lot easier than I expected it to be. I’ve haven’t learned a ton of stitches yet, but it’s a fun thing to do when I’m sitting at home with nothing else to do. If you’re looking for something new to try, I would definitely recommend it.

Post it notes – Post its have been my saving grace this month. I honestly don’t know how I would’ve managed to get through November without them. If you didn’t already know, I  used to have a very specific way I liked to set up my planner. However, since I started incorporating post it notes into my organizational methods, I’ve been doing things a little differently. That being said, if you would be interested in seeing an updated how-I-organize-my-planner post, I’d totally be down for that. Just let me know 🙂

Gingerbread lattes – Although I’m partial to iced coffee (even in the winter months…iced coffee > hot coffee), I have to say I’ve been digging gingerbread lattes lately. Maybe it’s because it’s getting closer to the holidays, and I’m getting into the festive spirit.

GlamGlow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer – November was a rough month for my skin, as it always is. As soon as the weather starts to cool down, my skin dries out like crazy. This moisturizer from GlamGlow has been the most effective one for me thus far. It isn’t too greasy, and it leaves my skin feel smooth and hydrated.

WaveSounds – Recently, I’ve been listening to wave sounds before I go to sleep. I found this free app that offers a variety of different wave noises, and I like to put it on for just 10 or 15 minutes before I go to bed. It’s very calming.

Essay-style blog posts – If you’ve been keeping up with the blog this month, you may have noticed I’ve been writing more essay-style pieces. I used to do these all the time when I first started blogging, but I sort of drifted away from them as my blog changed. However, I got back into them at the beginning of the month, and I think it might be time to bring them back. They’re fun to write, and I always love hearing what other people have to say about the topics.

Well, those are some things that I’ve been loving this month. I hope you enjoyed reading, and I would love to hear about what’s kept you busy 🙂

What are some of your favorite things from this November?
