Sometimes all you need is a good milkshake. More specifically, a peanut butter milkshake. And today was one of those days.

If you like peanut butter and chocolate, this is something you will really enjoy. It requires a few different steps, but I promise it’s worth the hassle.

Presenting: The BEST Peanut Butter Milkshake

PEANUT BUTTER MILKSHAKE

(FYI: This makes a pretty big portion)

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • 1/2 cup of peanut butter
  • 1 gallon of vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup of skim milk

DIRECTIONS:

  1. In a mixer, combine peanut butter, vanilla ice cream, and skim. Blend until smooth.

+

CHOCOLATE CHIP RIM

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • 1 tub of chocolate frosting
  • 1 bag of mini chocolate chips

(When I made this, I used hot fudge for the rim. It ended up being kind of drippy, so I would suggest using frosting instead).

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Using a knife, paint a thin layer of chocolate frosting around the top of your milkshake glass. Add chocolate chips.

+

WHIPPED CREAM

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • 2 cups of whipping cream
  • 1/3 cup of powdered sugar

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Beat whipping cream and powdered sugar together in an electric mixture until stiff.
