Sephora Play! Unboxing

My Sephora Play! box for the month of July arrived just a few days ago, so today I thought it would be fun to go through everything I got. I’ve been subscribed to Sephora Play for over a year now, and I’ve done several posts about it in the past. If you like this sort of thing, and you’re interested in seeing more, I share everything I get in my boxes on my Instagram stories right after they arrive.

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour Blush in “Paaarty”

“A soft, silky powder blush in a Sephora-exclusive shade that looks flawless for hours.”

I’ve had a couple of Tarte blushes in the past, and I’ve really enjoyed them. The color of this blush is super soft and pretty, so I think I will like it. I’ve always been a sucker for lovely shades of pink like this.

Tarte Color Splash Lipstick in “Salt Lyfe”

“A long-wear, full-coverage nude lipstick with a satin finish that hydrates and conditions.”

Lots of Tarte in this month’s box, but I’m not complaining. This lipstick is a gorgeous shade of mauve pink that seems perfect for this time of year. I can definitely see myself wearing it on a day-to-day basis. If the formula is moisturizing and long-lasting, this could become a staple of mine.

Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream

“A protein moisturizer that visibly improves skin’s tone, texture, and firmness.”

If you know me, you know that I love a good moisturizer. I haven’t tried anything from Drunk Elephant before, but I hear lots of good things. I was doing a bit of research on this product, and I saw it listed as ideal for all skin types. We’ll have to see if that ends up being true.

Briogeo Blossom & Bloom Ginseng + Biotin Volumizing Spray

“A multi-benefit spray that adds volume and supports healthy, long-term hair growth.”

A volumizing spray sounds awesome, doesn’t it? Though I haven’t had a ton of success with the volume adding products I’ve used in the past, I have good feelings about this one.

Boscia Matcha Magic Super-Antioxidant Mask

“An antioxidant-rich treatment that visibly reduces inflammation and redness.”

I’ve never tried a matcha face mask before, but I’ve seen a lot of them in stores. It sounds fun and refreshing. I’ll probably be saving this for a good weekend pamper session!

Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Deep Dive Cleansing Gel

“A hardworking daily face cleanser that leaves skin super soft and hydrated.”

The reviews I’ve seen for this cleanser are PHENOMENAL. So, naturally, my expectations are pretty high. Skincare has been a huge love of mine recently, so I am really excited to give this a go.

Overall, I’m really pleased with this month’s box and can’t wait to see how everything works out! I’ll keep you updated on everything as best I can. Maybe I’ll even do a follow-up post later this month.

  1. This looks like a pretty good box! I have been thinking of signing up for this subscription but I fear having too many little samples that I can’t use up. They gave that Tarte PAAARTY blush as the birthday gift last year and I love it – its an easy go to! 🙂
