It’s been a solid minute since I have done an outfit post here on Currently, Lately, so today I am going to change that. Let’s have a look at one of my current go-to summer outfits, shall we?
Two of my VERY favorite fashion trends are polka dots and collars, so when I spotted this top while I was thrift shopping, I fell completely in love with it. The black-and-white polka dot pattern is simple yet stylish. And the collar gives the top a fun, retro feel.
Another great thing about this top is the material. It’s airy and super lightweight, which is perfect for this time of year. It’s been pretty humid where I live these past couple of weeks, so a top with these qualities is a major lifesaver.
This top is really versatile and can easily be styled either dressy or casual. On this particular day, I decided to go the more dressy route. Pairing it with a basic black mini skirt and tights, I felt like this outfit was something I could wear out to a nice dinner.
For finishing touches, I chose my go-to large frame sunglasses and a cute pair of heeled booties. I didn’t go all out with the accessories because I didn’t think this look needed it. None of my necklaces laid well with the collar, though I guess you could say the collar itself was an accessory.
Overall, the words I would use to describe this outfit are simple, comfy, and stylish. It isn’t super detail-oriented, but I think all of the pieces work well together, creating an outfit I can see myself wearing time and time again.

This is such a bloody cute outfit, I love how you’ve styled it!! The top is adorable and I love finding cute things in thrift stores as you know it’s rare you’ll see it again. This outfit would be perfect for day and evening wear with a simple change of accessories and lippie too!

I am obsessed with polka dots at the moment. Fun fact: I actually purchase a polka dot dress from ASOS this morning. Another trend I am loving is leapord print, although I’ve never been a fan of it in the past, I am going through a massive phase for it!
