It’s just about to be the start of July, and I’ve got a lot I want to get done this month, so there seemed like no better way to start it off than with a fresh set of goals! I always love doing these because allow me to get organized before the month really starts, and they also kinda serve as a way for me to update you all on what’s currently going on in my life.
1. Push myself to try new things on the blog
My main goal for the month is definitely to give myself a little “push” in terms of the content I put up here on Currently, Lately. I’ve been really happy with my expanded blogging schedule thus far, and I want to use it to experiment with new types of posts here and on social media. My hope is that by the end of the month, you’ll have seen a few things on here that you haven’t before.
2. Experiment with photography
Similar to goal number one, I would love trying something new with my photography. I’ve gotten more comfortable with the way I do photos over the last several months, and while that comfort has been nice, I think trying something new would be nice, too. Maybe I’ll invest in a new flat lay background or attempt. to take more lifestyle-like photos.
3. Continue being consistent on social media
Historically, social media is one of those things I’ve been inconsistent with. I know I’ve said this before, but I have day-long stretches when I completely forget about posting on one (or more) of my social media accounts. Usually what happens is I am consistent on one platform and totally inconsistent on another.
That being said, I’ve somewhat managed to be consistent over the last month or so, which is why the goal for the month is to maintain that consistency. I like the idea of using this as a goal as a checkpoint of sorts to keep myself on track.
4. Read a few books
I love reading, but sometimes I get caught up in other things, and it gets hard to find time to do so. Ideally, I would like to spend a good deal of time reading outside in the sunshine this month. I feel like it would be a fun way to enjoy the summer.
Anyway, those are the goals I’ve got planned for the month! I know I tend to do five or six, but I really want to concentrate on getting these ones accomplished. Hopefully having a little less on my plate will make that task easier.

Do you have any goals for the month?
My goal for this month is to finish at least 1 book. I get so caught up in other stuff and have been neglecting reading for quite some time.

Good luck with your goals lovely! I wanted to read more but I never seem to find much time at the minute but I have a week off coming up so I might have a reading marathon if the weather stays nice enough I can sit in the garden and read all day! I always forget about posting on social media too especially Instagram I’m terrible with it!

Sometimes the best posts on the blog are the ones that are a bit outside of your comfort zone! Photography is actually my favorite part (after writing blog posts) about being a blogger, so much creativeness goes into one shot!
I can definitely relate to being inconsistent with social media at times – especially Instagram! Sometimes I do run out of things to put on there. Twitter is the only one where I’m always on – just making more of an effort to chat to more bloggers on there.
Reading a few books is also on my list for July! I love to read but haven’t found a book to delve into.

I agree! I really feel like I need to write one of those posts this month! And Instagram is definitely so hard to stay consistent with. I run out of things to post on there too. I know what you mean about not being able to find a book to delve into. I’m kind of in the same place right now. Hopefully both of us will find good ones soon!

My goal this month is to procrastinate less. I’m taking small steps – setting a list of a maximum of five tasks each day and pushing myself to complete them by the end of the day,
