My Trip to New York City

Hey everyone!

Long time, no talk. Well, at least for me it is. I know I had posts going up all throughout last week, but if you follow me on any form social media, you may have noticed that I was pretty absent. I was on vacation. And before I left, I mentioned that I probably wouldn’t be posting much while I was gone. However, I wasn’t expecting to be as absent as I was. The whole trip was a lot of go-go-go, so I didn’t have the time to sit down and scroll through social media. It was nice to have a little bit of a technology detox, but I will say that I felt very out of the loop.

I’m back now, and I’m glad to be. Traveling is a lot of fun, but it definitely is tiring. After several days of constant walking and exploring (one on which I walked roughly 15 miles), I was ready to go home. It’s good to get away sometimes, but returning to normalcy is good, too.

Anyway, back to the vacation. I spent a few days in Chicago and then a few days in NYC. It was a fantastic trip, and I can’t wait to tell you all about it. But right now, I’m too busy unpacking and catching up on sleep to do that.

So, today I just wanted to share a few of the photos I took during the NYC portion of the trip. I’m going to do a full NYC travel guide once I’ve gotten settled back in, but I had such a great time that I didn’t want to wait to share the pictures.

Without further ado, let’s have a look at some of the sites I saw and places I visited while in New York City!

Thank you so much for reading! I’m off to sleep for about a zillion hours.

Have you gone on any trips recently?

  1. So glad you enjoyed NYC. I have lived here all my life and never get tired of the sites….I even take dinner cruises that go around the Statute of Liberty … There is so much going on everyday. Looking forward to more photos.

  2. This post brings back memories of my own trip to NY back in 2015 – it was my first solo travel adventure, so I was both nervous and excited 🙂 unfortunately Blizzard Juno hit just as I landed, so I didn’t get to experience nearly half the stuff I wanted to. I’ll definitely have to head back at some point, so I can do a few more of the things you’ve listed x
