It’s been eons since my last empties post.
So long that I’m actually embarrassed by the contents of my last one, and I refuse to link it. I strongly urge you not to go looking for it. Trust me, it’s bad.
ANYWAY, since it’s been such a long time since I’ve written an empties post, now seems like perfect time to change that.
I’m calling this my May empties, but to be honest not all of these products were from May. It takes me a long time to get through stuff, so this is more like a collective empties. Nevertheless, we’re sticking with the title.
Let’s talk products, shall we?
Rose Floral Toner – This one of the Sephora Play samples that I raved on and on about way back in February. I finally finished the bottle a couple weeks ago, and I have to say I’ve been missing it. This toner made my skin feel so soft and healthy. If it weren’t for the hefty price tag, this would be a must-have repurchase for me. However, since I’m a woman on a budget, I think I’ll be searching for something else. That being said, if you know any good inexpensive toners, make sure to drop them in the comments!
(Seriously, guys, I’m desperate).
MAC Pro Longwear Concealer – I finished up this concealer just the other day. It was kind of a bummer because I didn’t actually realize the product was gone until I pressed down on the pump and nothing came out. Anyway, this was an awesome concealer. It was full coverage, lightweight, and matched my skin tone nicely. Just about all I could ever ask for out of a concealer.
Look Beauty Panda Calming Facials Sheet Mask – An interesting sheet mask, and not something I would normally buy. If you caught my review of this mask, you’ll know that I had pretty mixed reactions to it. The panda print was cute, and it left my skin feeling smooth. However, it smelt strongly of chemicals and it sort of made my face burn. I don’t think I’ll be getting it again, though I suppose I can never be sure.

Belif True Cream Moisturizing Bomb – Another Sephora Play sample that I’ve just gotten around to using up. This was a nice moisturizer that I loved using after I washed my face in the morning. I don’t think I’ll be repurchasing it though. While it made my skin feel soft and absorbed into it easily, I didn’t feel like there was anything about it that made it standout from any other moisturizer that I’ve used in the past. At $40 a bottle, I think I’m going to have to deal without it.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz – This is my go-to, my ride or die, my holy grail. I’ve talked about it so many times on here that I’ve pretty much lost count. It’s such a fantastic brow product, and it’s so easy to use. If you’re looking for something off this list to check out, this is the one I’d recommend. By the time this post goes live, I’ve probably already repurchased this.
Clinique High Impact Mascara – This was a solid mascara. It made my lashes look really long, and it didn’t clump up. HOWEVER, I’m generally not a high-end mascara person, so I probably won’t repurchase it. I feel like you find products that are just as effective at your local drugstore for half the price. And, as mentioned above, I don’t have all the money in the world to splurge on makeup.
John Freida Go Blonder Shampoo and Conditioner – I used this shampoo and conditioner a little while back, before I started getting highlights in my hair. For the most part, I really liked it. It smells amazing, and it left my hair feeling so soft. I also felt like it did a decent job of lightening my hair. It didn’t do anything super dramatic, but enough that I could notice a difference. I won’t be buying this again, but only because of my highlights. Both the shampoo and conditioner are safe for color treated hair, but I’m not looking to alter the color.
Those are some of the products I’ve tried out recently! I hope you enjoyed reading, and I’ll catch up with you all later this week!

I adore the pixi glow tonic! For a toner 😘 I wouldn’t link a post I wrote on it bc sometimes I don’t like when people force their blogs onto me 😂 but truly if you wanna see how it worked for my skin after four weeks I dive deeply into it here! https://ksloves.wordpress.com/2018/04/24/pixi-glow-tonic-4-week-diary/
