Sharing with you a quick OOTD because it’s Monday, and I am exhausted.
This outfit is probably closer to my daily uniform than anything else I’ve ever shown here on Currently, Lately. I am a sucker for a good black and white ensemble. It’s a classic pairing that never fails to look chic and refined. This striped shirt and short combo a dream for me. So fun and stylish, yet so effortless.
While we’re on the topic of shorts, let’s discuss these a little further. Another thing I love is a high-waisted short. I constantly find myself wanting to tuck tops in (I really dig the way it looks), so high-waisted shorts are a favorite of mine for spring and summer. These black ones are super comfy and versatile. I feel like they’re a good thing to invest in before summer kicks into gear.
And, of course, we’re going to address the denim jacket. By now, you’ve all seen this particular jacket a couple times on the blog. I promise I do in fact wear it as much as I post about it. I love that it’s light-washed and a little bit oversized. It goes with everything, and it’s so simple to just throw it over whatever I’m currently wearing.

Overall, I would consider this a spring/summer go-to look for me. Perfect for a day of running errands or getting work done at a local coffee shop. Simple, laid-back, and comfy.
Anyway, I hope your Monday is going well. Mine’s been busy, but ultimately I’d say I am pleased with it.

Really cute outfit! Plus I love that you paired it with the short jacket.. that comes in handy when going inside and the AC is cranking..❄️ I am not yet rocking anything in particular fashion wise, BUT I did start using an old Esprit tote from loooong ago. I found it at my parents, washed it, and have seriously fell in love with the plain cotton-ness of it. Easy and breezy to hold all my stuff!
