Unpopular Opinions

Popular opinion: unpopular opinions are always interesting to read.

And today I thought I would share a few of mine.

I wrote a post similar to this a while back. I had a lot of fun reading your responses and seeing all the things we had (and didn’t have) in common. That post was primarily beauty-related, so this one will focus on more general life things (a lot of which seem to deal with food).

Fall is not the best season – It seems as though a lot of people out there think fall is the best season. I have to wholeheartedly disagree. Sure the pumpkins and the apple cider are nice, but are they better than the ice cream and the sunshine of summer? Definitely not.

Most perfumes smell awful – I’m super picky about perfumes, and I honestly think most of the high-end ones smell awful! Maybe it’s just me, but almost every time I catch a whiff of an expensive perfume at the department store, I can’t imagine why someone would actually buy one.

Pineapple belongs on pizza – This is probably the most divisive opinion on this list, but I really do think pineapple belongs on pizza. I’m not sure why everyone is so against it.

Not washing your hair is awful – A lot of people live for the days when they don’t have to wash their hair. For me, on the other hand, it is the absolute worst! I can’t stand how my hair feels after not being washed, even if it’s only been a couple of days.

Running is really fun – Running gets a bad rap, but it’s one of my favorite things to do. I actually did a whole post about why I love running last year.

Chewing gum is gross – I’ve hated gum ever since I was a kid. I’m not sure why, but I’ve never liked it. I’ll take a breath mint over a piece of gum any day.

Bath bombs aren’t worth it – Bath bombs are way too pricey for their end result. $7 for something that’s going to dissolve after one use? No thanks.

Those sugar cookies everyone loves are too sweet – You know what cookies I’m talking about, right? Those super soft ones with pink frosting and sprinkles that you can find at just about every grocery store? Despite how much everyone seems to like them, I think they’re way too sweet.

Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoyed reading this post. Let me know if you’d like to see more content like this in the future.

What are some of your unpopular opinions?

  1. OMG!! Someone who agrees about pineapple and those stupid dam cookies! I’m pretty sure I’ve forever been a bit of a Grinch growing up and absolutely shunning them at birthday parties! xx

  2. I agree with the perfumes one and the bath bombs one. People are always obsessing over Lush bath bombs and I really do not see the craze. The idea of sitting in a pool of what is essentially dirty water for a long period of time, covered by a pretty bath bomb, does not appeal to me. xx

  3. Hi Paige!
Unpopular opinions are the best kind of opinions in my opinion haha 🙂
I am not a big fan of fall either! It just makes me feel like winter is coming haha. On the other hand I love spring and summer.
I also love running and pineapples on pizza. I don’t like sweet things in general (unless it is dark chocolate) and I also don’t like salty snacks like chips.
    Great post 🙂

  4. I don’t like fall either, it’s just rain and coldness. Also, bath bombs are a waste of money and o how I hate it if I haven’t washed my hair in 2 days

  5. Hello, I’m a newbie blogger and obviously a newbie to your page! 🙂 I really enjoyed reading this post! However, uh, ew pineapple doesn’t go on pizza. As far as I am concerned pineapple goes in the trash can. I do agree that bath bombs aren’t worth it though. They get way too much credit than they are worth. I haven’t found an expensive perfume I like so i will stick to my cheap ones, lol.
