It’s the end of March, which means it’s time for another roundup of the things I’ve been into recently! I always love writing favorites posts because I feel like they’re the perfect way to catch up with you all while at the same time shout out some of the items I’ve been enjoying.

Let’s talk about them, shall we?

Nars “Let’s Go Crazy” Velvet Matte Lip Pencil – I got this Nars lip pencil in my Sephora Play box last month, and it’s been my go-to color ever since. It’s a bright, bold pink that certainly makes a statement. It’s a lot different than anything I’ve used before, and I think that’s what I like about it so much. Kudos to Sephora Play for sending me something that is so perfect yet so out of my norm.

Instagram stories – I’ve been having a lot of fun posting on my Instagram stories recently. To be honest, I used to just completely neglect this feature of Instagram, mainly because I wasn’t sure what to post. Now I’ve discovered that I like using the stories to share quotes, OOTDS, blog posts, and LOTS of coffee pictures (seriously, I need help).

Mornings – I wrote a post a couple weeks back about my newfound love for mornings, and I felt like I couldn’t write a favorites post without including them. Right now, there’s nothing I look forward to more than getting up early and having a cup of coffee. It’s relaxing, and it has made me much more productive.

Wave Sounds – This sounds like a weird favorite, doesn’t it? I’ve been trying to relax more often this month, and one of the ways I’ve been doing that is by listening to wave sounds before I go sleep. I downloaded this app at the beginning of the month. It’s really cool because it allows you to select from wave sounds on different types of beaches. (Hint: You’d think they’d all sound the same, but they don’t).

Silver necklaces – I’ve been wearing a lot of silver jewelry recently. This long pendant tassel necklace has been my go-to piece. I think it looked great with cable knit sweaters and mock neck tops, and I’m excited to start styling it with spring pieces.

Scandal – I started binge-watching Scandal on Netflix last month, and it’s safe to say that I am obsessed! It’s actually kind of frightening how many episodes I’ve watched over the past few weeks. But there’s nothing else you can do when you find a show you love, right? I’m almost caught up to where it’s at right now, and I know I’m going to be sad when it’s over. (If you have any recommendations for what I watch next, I’d really appreciate them!)

Canva – I’ve been making blog graphics recently, and it’s made me realize how much I love Canva. It’s so easy to use, and the graphics never fail to turn out great. If you’re a blogger and you haven’t used Canva before, trust me when I say you’re going to want to check it out. It’s a lifesaver.

Glam Glow Supercleanse & Fresh Rose Floral Toner – I raved about these two products at the end of February, so naturally they followed me into March. They’ve been making my skin feel incredibly soft, which is a miracle given how dry it has been. They’re on the pricer side, but they are fantastic.

Polka dots – Polka dots are kind of my thing right now. (If you’ve seen my stories on Instagram, you might already know that). In particular, I’ve been loving this black and white polka dot sweater. It’s cute and comfy. I love pairing it with black ballet flats and a good pair of maroon jeans. I don’t think the exact version is available anymore, but this sweater from ASOS is basically the same thing.

OGX Nourishing Coconut Milk Shampoo & Conditioner – I’ve been using this shampoo and conditioner set recently, and I’ve totally been loving it. Both products smell great, and they leave my hair feeling so soft and smooth. The cost is another added bonus. Nothing beats a good quality drugstore product.
