Spring has officially arrived, and while the weather may not have taken notice yet, I certainly have. I don’t know about you, but I’m good and ready for a change in fashion. I’m sick of the cold. And at this point in the year, it always sort of feels like I’ve been wearing the same few pieces on a continuous loop.
So, I’m excited for spring fashion. And because of that, that’s precisely what I wanted today’s post to be about! I’ve been doing a little inspiration searching online recently, and I figured it would be fun to share some of the items/trends I’ve been enjoying.
I created three looks to give you a general idea of what my style is going to look like this upcoming spring. This is different than anything I’ve done on the blog before, so if you like it, I’d love to know. Maybe this will become a seasonal feature.
Normally, I’m not a big pink wearer. However, when springtime rolls around, I find myself incorporating little bits of coral and pastel into my wardrobe. This gorgeous pale pink top with flouncy sleeves is perfect for spring. I love the way it looks styled with a jean skirt, and I think a nice pair of wedges, a cute cross body, and the right sunglasses would make a great ensemble. I could see myself wearing something like this if I were going shopping or grabbing lunch on a warm day.

It’s no secret I have an affinity for black-and-white fashion, and I love what I am able to do with that during spring. One of my favorite ways to carry that style over from winter is to take my colder weather black-and-white pieces and pair them with warmer weather accessories. This outfit is the perfect example. A black-and-white long-sleeve tee and jeans work wonderfully with a pair of boots and a cute coat in the wintertime. But by swapping out the boots for flats and adding a statement necklace, the outfit makes the seamless transition to spring.

Another thing I’ve always adored about fashion is contrast. I love being able to take dressier pieces and juxtapose them with more casual ones. I think it creates a fun, dynamic look. And in springtime, it seems like the easiest way to do this is to pair dresses and sneakers. I spotted this stunning off-the-shoulder dress while I was doing some online
shopping browsing the other day, and I fell completely in love. I became even more enamored when I thought about the prospect of pairing it with these gold sneakers. This is definitely a trend I’ll be exploring this spring.
