OOTD: Spring Transitions

Spring is on its way, which means it’s time to start transitioning my wardrobe!

Winter to spring has always been one of my favorite times for fashion. As the temperatures start to go up, I love being able to pull out some of the warmer weather pieces that I haven’t seen in a while.

It’s exciting to gradually begin wearing short sleeves and skirts and sunglasses again. Hence, why I’m wearing them for today’s OOTD.

As you can see, it’s a fairly simple ensemble. I tucked this rose printed top into my favorite corduroy skirt, threw on my go-to over-the-knee boots and a coral statement necklace, and finished the look off with a fun pair of cat eye sunglasses.

Pink and green is a combination that I wear quite a lot, and I think it’s perfect for transitioning from winter to spring. Dark green has an earthy, winter vibe, whereas coral  pink is light and springy. And the juxtaposition of these two seasonal colors is what I see transitional fashion as being about.

Something that is also great about this outfit for this particular time of year is because it can be worn on both warmer days and colder days. Today was on the warmer side, so I was perfectly comfortable in short sleeves and a mini skirt. But if the temperature had been a little colder, I could have easily thrown on a pair of tights and a black cardigan.

This look is very versatile, and that was ultimately what I was hoping to achieve.

  1. I really like this look, the skirt goes really well with the floral top💚
And like you said it can be worn in both warmer and cooler weather which is a bonus✨
