3 Products I Always Repurchase

I’m a creature of habit when it comes to beauty products. When I find something I really like, I tend to stick with it. Experimenting with new brands and products is fun and all. But the way I see it, I’d much rather spend my money on something I know I’m going to enjoy than something that could end up sitting at the bottom of my makeup bag for the next three months. You know what I mean?

Anyway, since I’m prone to sticking with the same products, I thought this would be a good time to talk about the ones I’ve been using for a relatively long time. I like to shout out my favorite products every now and then, and that’s essentially what I’ve got planned for today.

Before I get into it, I feel like I should address the fact that today is not a normal post day for me. I had a little bit more free time than usual this afternoon, and it felt like it had been a while since I’d done a spontaneous post. So, here we are!

Now, onto the post!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz – I rave about this product a lot, I know. Probably too much. But that goes to show you just how much I love this brow pencil, and why it’s something that I repurchase on a routine basis.

The brow wiz is great for shaping any type of eyebrow. I know this because I’ve been using it for years and, even as the way I’ve filled in my brows has changed, the product hasn’t. This has been my go-to time and time again. I honestly can’t see myself ever switching to a different one.

What I love most about this product (there are actually a lot of things, though for the sake of time, I’ll narrow it down to only one) is that it’s so easy to use. When I first began testing out this product, I was a total makeup novice. (I still kind of am, but I’ve learned a great deal since then.) I didn’t know the right way to shape my brows or really how to make them look decent. However, I was able to pick it up very quickly using the brow wiz. The pencil makes for easy application, and having a wand on the other end certainly comes in handy.

Up next, there’s my holy grail eyeliner, the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner. This is another one of those products I’ve been using for ages. In fact, I’ve been using this for so long that I can’t remember a time when I used a different liquid eyeliner (aside from the ones I’ve received from Birchbox or Sephora Play).

Across the board, this is really a solid eyeliner. It isn’t too faint. It doesn’t smudge or smear. And the applicator is soft and easy to use. It’s a great thing to splurge on because one pencil lasts a long time. I’ve had the same one for a good while now, and it is only just starting to dry out.

Overall, I’d definitely recommend giving the Stay All Day Eyeliner a go. I’ve found it to be worth every penny. In my book, there’s honestly nothing that competes with it.

Lastly, a product I’ve always repurchased is the Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder. If you’ve been into makeup for a while, you might remember this was mega popular a few years ago. I started using it then and just never changed it up.

This is a great powder to give your skin a little bit more of a matte finish. I put it over foundations, BB creams, and concealers, and it works wonderfully. Plus, at $3.99, there’s nothing you can find better. A good pickup if you’re on a budget.

Well, that’s all for today! I know I don’t usually post on Fridays, so I hope you enjoyed this bonus post of sorts! Perhaps this will become a regular thing when (and if) I have the time.

  1. Interesting! Brow Wiz is my LEAST favorite ABH brow product – I like the Perfect Brow Pencil best, and in a pinch I’ll use Dipbrow. I prefer the texture of those two over the Brow Wiz, which feels a bit crayon-like to me.

  2. I always repurchase the elf eyebrow pencil! Great quality & only a fraction of the cost of my previous brow makeup.💁🏼‍♀️ —https://emilyryannblogblog.wordpress.com/2018/02/18/wedding-venue-tips-what-i-am-doing/
