Hello!

I’ve been meaning to write a favorites posts for a while now. I had been planning to do one for November earlier this month, but amongst all the Blogmas chaos, it completely slipped my mind. But rather than wait for next month to write a new favorites post, I figured why not just do a current list of favorites!

Let’s jump right in, shall we?

First up, I’ve got my latest favorite red combo. I did a whole post about this look last week, if you want to check that out. This has become my favorite festive look for the holiday season. It’s a bright cherry red that “Christmas” like no other color. I love pairing it with all my red holiday clothing. It looks great and lasts all day.

Next, I have been adoring the Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer. I’ve had a back-and-forth relationship with this bronzer for a little over a year now. There are some months when I love it and use nothing but it. And there are some months when I totally forget about it and don’t take it out of my makeup bag once. December has been one of the love-it-and-use-nothing-but-it months. I like this bronzer because it gives my face just that slight bit of dimension I want without being too sharp or glow-y. I have nothing against shimmery bronzers. But on a daily basis, it isn’t the look I’m trying to create. This bronzer is awesome because it works well for my everyday makeup look.

Moving on to fashion, or as I should say a lack thereof. I haven’t been able to do many looks this months because I’ve been pretty busy (which should explain why you haven’t seen a lot of fashion content on the blog as of late). My biggest fashion must-have right now is a pair of festive fuzzy socks. I got these in the dollar section at Target earlier this month. They’re super soft and comfy, though I have to say they shed more than any other pair of socks I’ve ever owned. (You should see all the red and green fuzzy bits clinging to my comforter at the moment…) Regardless, I’ve really been enjoying these for the colder weather. They’re wonderful for days and nights when I just want to sit inside and keep warm.

Next I’ve got some food favorites, which is honestly the category I’m most excited about. This is an oldie but a goodie, but this month I have to include the Torani Vanilla Syrup. All of you are probably familiar with my devotion to vanilla coffee at this point, so this should come to no surprise. I love adding a little splash of this to my morning coffee, which I’ve been in desperate need of due to the busy schedule I mentioned earlier. Coffee has definitely been a necessity for me lately, and this syrup has made it a lot better. Torani has a ton of other holiday flavors that I’m interested in trying, so let me know if you’ve had any of them!

Last but certainly not least, I’ve been devouring an unhealthy amount of candy canes this December. I love anything mint, so candy canes are a favorite treat of mine. I always look forward to seeing them on grocery store shelves during the holidays, and I consume my fair share.
