The Best Planner Ever

If you saw the title of this and thought to yourself, “is she really going to write an entire post about a planner?” one of two things must be happening.

1). You must be new here. (And in that case, hi!)

2). You must be equally as addicted to planners as me.

Yes, if you couldn’t already tell from my plethora of planner-related posts, I am most certainly a planner-holic. I love the sense of structure that having a planner gives me and find that I’m significantly more productive when I establish a schedule for myself. I started getting into planners about a year or so ago, and I haven’t looked back since! It has definitely made life a lot less hectic for me (especially in terms of blogging) and calms my nerves when I’m feeling overwhelmed.

Having found a lot of success in keeping a planner, I recently decided that I wanted to invest in a newer, more detailed one. While my old planner served me perfectly fine for the better part of the year, I’ve changed my work habits quite drastically in these past couple of months (psst: you’ll see a whole post on that soon). With these changes, I’ve needed more space in my planner, and I realized what I had wasn’t cutting it anymore.

So, I decided to start looking for something new. And what I found was what I’ve come to believe is the greatest planner ever.

This planner, which is from the brand Brit + Co, is basically my dream planner. I’ve had it for a little over a month now, and while it got a shoutout in my October favorites post, I’ve had such a great experience with it that I felt like it deserved its own piece.

What exactly do I love about this planner? For starters, a great thing about it is that it isn’t devoted to one precise calendar year. One of the things that can be annoying about planners is that they’re usually specific to one calendar year. If you don’t get motivated to buy one right at New Year’s, you end up wasting a ton of the pages. What’s awesome about this planner is that you don’t have to wait for a new year to get started because you fill the dates in yourself. And if a month goes by in which you totally slack off, the pages aren’t completely useless. The planner adapts to your schedule instead of the other way around.

Another wonderful thing about this planner is that it gives you space to schedule your day on an hour-by-hour basis. Not everyone may like this. But if you’re the type of person who wants a general sense of what you’ll be doing at any given point in the day, this is an awesome feature. It definitely helps me visualize my day and gives me a sense of how I’ll be able to fit everything into my schedule.

Something else I also enjoy about this planner is the fun little extras it is filled with. Inside the planner are lots of colorful quotes and images, as well as spaces for you to jot down your thoughts and ideas. I keep a running list of potential blog post ideas on one of the blank pages, and it becomes really useful to me when I’m in need of inspiration.

Anyway, that’s all I really have for today! This planner has been so useful to me that I couldn’t resist giving it a post of its own. I hope you enjoyed reading and feel free to let me know if you’d like seeing more planner-related posts like this.

Do you have a planner?

Sincerely,
