Happy Sunday everyone!

Although it’s Sunday while you’re reading this, it’s currently Saturday night and I’m writing to you from the comfort of my bed. Life has been pretty chaotic for me this week and it feels like this is the first time I’ve had to myself in days ages. I’m extremely exhausted at the moment, but this feels like the perfect to write this post. I like Sunday blogs to have a chatty and laid-back vibe, which is exactly what I feel like I can do right now.

Since fall officially starts next week (cue my sobs), today I wanted to share a fun transitional outfit post. Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t the time in-between seasons is always such an awkward time for fashion? The weather has yet to really catch up with the changing of the seasons, so it isn’t quite time to pull out the next installment of your wardrobe, but, at the same time, you’re getting tired of wearing the same pieces over and over.

For today, I decided to create a fall outfit that works even in summer weather. I paired this army green corduroy skirt with a three-quarter length black tee shirt. I love how this look captures the earthy look of fall fashion without being too heavy.
