Today I’m bringing you the first post of my new blogging schedule! If you my latest post, then you know that I decided on a blogging schedule, which will consist of new posts on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and (depending on how busy I am) Sundays! I’m so excited to have finally found a schedule that’ll work for me. I’ve been meaning to do this for months now, so I’m more than happy to be getting started.
Anyway, as you can see from the title, today’s post is all about summer florals. I happen to love a good floral dress. But I especially love a good floral dress when I find it on a clearance rack for $10. When I spotted this rosy number on sale at Macy’s, I honestly couldn’t believe the price. There’s nothing quite like a good bargain, right?
Since this dress has a very, well, dressy feel, I decided to pair it up with my favorite laid-back jean jacket. I really think the jacket is what makes this outfit work. Its casual vibe is the perfect balance to the formalness of the dress. It’s the simplest way to make a fancy look daytime friendly.
To finish the outfit off, I added this colorful statement necklace and a pair of lace-up sandals. This has definitely been one of my favorite looks for the summer.

Love those sandals. Not crazy about florals for myself, that is, although I do have one or two tops that are. I love denim in everything….I am more a solid or stripe type of person….but love those sandals!
