Before I get into today’s post, I first want to quickly apologize for the lack of blogs these past few days. I’ve had a lot of different things keeping me busy recently, which has made it a little difficult to find time to blog. Consistency is coming your way, I promise! It’s only a matter of time.
Anyways, now that it’s a new month, I’ve got a new set of goals for myself. July is actually my favorite month of the year. Summer is in full swing, the sun is out all day, and I can do my blog work outside on my patio. It’s the best time of year, so naturally I have a lot of things that I’d like to accomplish. These are a few of my big goals for July!
1. Stock up on blog photos
One of the many great things about July (and the summertime in general) is that the weather is almost always perfect for blog photography. Sunshine is out from early morning to late evening, which gives me a large window of opportunity to take blog photos. Right now, I’d really like to take advantage of the sunshine and get loads of flatlays taken. I feel like doing this will make it a lot easier for me to get content up once the weather isn’t as consistently nice.
2. Reorganize my closet
Another thing I’d like to do this July is reorganize my closet. Admittedly, my closet has become a bit disorganized recently. I definitely need to purge it of clothes that I don’t really wear, as well as figure out what types of things I could use more of. I feel like streamlining my closet will help me get the most use out of my wardrobe.
3. Run every single day
If you’ve been following my blog for more than a couple of months, you may already know that running is one of my favorite pastimes. It really helps to clear my head and overall make me more productive. Something I’d like to do this month is run each and every day. It can be hard to find the time to do so, but I definitely feel better on days that I run than on days that I don’t run. Hopefully I’ll be able to prioritize running, even on days when I have a lot of other things going on.
4. Actually drink more water
I make this a goal of mine every once and a while because it’s one of those things that I always say I’m going to do but never actually follow through with. I really want to get myself in the habit of drinking eight cups of water a day, which I definitely don’t do now. It’s very important to stay hydrated, especially in the warmer months. I’m hoping if I start carrying a bottle of water with me wherever I go, I’ll find myself drinking it more consistently.
