Three High-End Eyeliners That I Love

Eyeliner is definitely one of my favorite beauty products. I love how it can be used to add subtle definition to a look, or to make a bold statement. The item is essential to my makeup routine and I love experimenting with it.

Side-note: This is the first post I’m writing on my phone via the WordPress app. I’m a little worried about potential spelling/grammar issues (aka autocorrect ruining my life), so I’m apologizing for any problems in advance.

Eyeliner is a product that I find myself willing to spend a little extra on simply because I use it so much. I think as long as you use something on a daily basis, it doesn’t hurt to treat yourself to a nicer version.

Because eyeliner is a staple to my makeup, I’ve tried out a lot of different ones over the years. I think one of the best things that I ever did was purchase one of those mini eyeliner kits from Sephora. It contained four or five eyeliner samples from different brands and it really helped me figure out the types of eyeliner that I liked. If you get the chance, I would recommend splurging on one. Most of them are limited edition, so if you see one you should definitely consider it. The kit that I used isn’t available in Sephora anymore, but you can check it out on Amazon.

Eyeko London Skinny Liquid Eyeliner – Strangely enough, I’ve never actually owned a full-size version of this liner. I have, however, tested out several samples of it and they have left me thoroughly impressed. The pen on this eyeliner is flexible, which makes application incredibly easy.  Also, the liner is a super pigmented black and it stays on your eyes all day. I love using this product when I’m trying to create bold wings or a dramatic cat eye, but it works for subtler looks as well. While it’s on the expensive side, I’d definitely say it is worth the splurge.

Mally Evercolor Starlight Waterproof Liner – On days in which all I want is a thin bit of eyeliner, this product from Mally Beauty is my go-to. The pencil of this liner is amazingly soft and smooth. It’s one of the only liners that doesn’t irritate my waterline and it’s fantastic for quick, on the go application. This collection has a wide variety of different colors. With different shades of blue and purple and brown, you’ll certainly find one that makes your eyes pop.

Stila Stay All Day Liquid Eye Liner – I don’t like to use the phrase ‘holy grail’ very often, but I can say with confidence that Stila’s Stay All Day Liquid Eye Liner is my holy grail eyeliner. I’ve been using this product for years and it has never disappointed me. The pen is easy to maneuver and glides on without smudging or smearing. Plus, as it says in the name, the formula lasts all day. The color doesn’t fade until you take it off with makeup remover, which is so convenient for days when you don’t have the time for a touch up. This product is worth every penny.

Investing in a high-end eyeliner can be a frustrating process. No one wants to drop $20 on something horrible. If you’re thinking about picking up an expensive eyeliner, these are what I believe to be the best options. Hopefully one of them will work out for you.

What’s your favorite high-end eyeliner?

Sincerely,

Paige
