Origins Out of Trouble 10 Minute Mask

Today I have to confess to you all something that might be a shock coming from a beauty/lifestyle blogger: I’m not a mask person. I came to this conclusion after several failed attempts to use masks and I’ve constructed three reasons in my argument against them:

  1. Leaving a product on my face for a long period of time feels horrible.
  2. Removing said product from my face takes way more effort than it should.
  3. Most face masks make my skin feel like it’s burning.

Despite the fact that I usually try to stay away from face masks, I found myself picking up a sample of Origins’ Out Of Trouble 10 Minute Mask. It was on sale at my local Macy’s and I thought it would make for an interesting blog post. Mask reviews seem to be pretty popular in the beauty community and I wanted to give them a try.

When I first opened up this mask, I noticed it had a frosting-like look and texture. The formula is very silky and easy to apply. I dabbed a little bit throughout my face until I had a fairly even layer over the skin.

What really appealed to me about this mask is that the wait time is only ten minutes. For me, the best quality that a product can have is effectiveness in a short amount of time. When I had it on, this mask didn’t irritate my skin. It felt sort of like a breath mint for my face. It was extremely refreshing and awakening.

After I removed the mask, which took a few good scrubs but nothing too painstaking, my skin felt noticeably smoother. If you know anything about me, I have ridiculously dry and patchy skin in the wintertime, so that was an impressive feat. Also, my skin felt really purified. This mask is marketed as removing dead skin cells and debris, and I can definitely attest to that. Wiping this off left me with a fresh, clean feeling.

Overall, I found Origins’ Out Of Trouble 10 Minute mask to be an effective product. I think I might purchase the full-size tube once I finish with the sample.

Have you tried out this mask before?

Sincerely,

Paige

  1. I’ve never tried this mask before, but I’ve definitely been lured into the mask faux pas recently, and to be perfectly honest, I’m not usually that impressed beyond the very immediate results. The ones I’ve tried tend to last a very short amount of time and I don’t usually feel like they accomplish all they’ve advertised that they will.
