Continuing on from the last couple of months, today I’ll be sharing my goals for the month of March and–hopefully–achieving them. After doing this for two months, I can honestly say that it is incredibly useful. If you’re someone who likes to challenge themselves, I recommend creating your own list of goals each month. It helps your imminent priorities become a little clearer and gives you a standard to measure your work ethic by.
This month, I really want to push myself. I’ve kept a running list of things that I want to get done in my phone and this March I plan to actualize them.
1. Up my blogging to 5-6 times per week
Last month, I set a goal of three blog posts each week. A couple of days into February, however, I realized that wasn’t a very challenging aspiration. I decided that if I was going to set a blogging goals for myself, it needed to be a big one. Five to six posts per week seems like a reasonable but demanding challenge.
2. Purchase another background layout
Ever since I started using a marble background for my blog photos, I have been much happier with the way that they turn out. However, I don’t want to rely on just one background. To shake things up, I’d like to buy another style of laminate.
3. Read more books
I realize this is a repeat, but I feel like it is never bad to urge yourself to read. Reading is one of my favorite pastimes, but with everything else that I have going on, it becomes difficult to find time to do so. In March, I am going to make the extra effort to read. Hopefully, I’ll be able to write a few more book reviews in the process.
4. Eat healthier
This is a very cliche goal, but I felt compelled to include it. Healthy eating is something I always say I am going to do, but then I end up eating the same things. I’m planning to work a lot more fruits and vegetables into my diet.
5. Improve my social media
Lately, I have been trying to get better at maintaining my social media accounts. While I don’t want to set a follower goal, I do want to be more active. If you’re interested in checking out any of my accounts, I have them linked below.
What are your goals this month?
Sincerely,
Paige

This is such a great idea! I think my goal for this month will be to get more familiar with the ‘behind the scenes’ aspects of blogging–figuring out how to make better graphics, learn about SEO, RSS, CSS, and all those other acronyms!
Thanks!

You’re goals sound great, I love your photos ❤️ my blogging goal for the month of February was to publish 20 posts, I think I managed to do 18 which was a massive jump from 13 in January… So my goal for March is repeated.. To try post 20 blogs 😊 hopefully I achieve that & you achieve all your goals! 💋

You’re right Paige, writing things down makes you think and clarifies your goals. And you are brave to be posting them on line! I am a bit more reserved, but I have organized my “book” as I refer to it, so it’s not just my calendar, but now also has sections for our house & homestead, my work, ideas and goals. It’s harder to ignore when it’s there in black and white.

I’m doing 2 blog posts per week and finding that challenging at times. I did a special birthday post so that ended up being 3 posts in that particular week. After reading you post I think I should aim for 3 a week and see how I go from there! Love the marble background! Good luck!

I love the marble background, but I can see how you would want to shake it up a bit.
