It Cosmetics “Naturally Pretty” Palette First Impressions

Hello, hello!

So today I’m bringing you another makeup review, as I just received this gorgeous eyeshadow palette and have been wanting to test it out. After this, I might take a break from product reviews. I feel like I’ve been doing too many of them lately, and my blog posts have become a bit repetitive. Let me know what you all think. I would greatly appreciate the feedback.

Anyways, the eyeshadow palette under review this Friday morning is It Cosmetic’s “Naturally Pretty Vol 1 Matte Luxe Transforming Eyeshadow Palette.” This beauty is a Christmas gift of mine that I’ve been meaning to share since the holiday. I actually took the photos well over a week ago, which is extremely early for me. I’m the type of blogger who often waits until a post is written to snap photos.

For the record, I’d like to state that I realize how terrible the lighting of these pictures is. The gold packaging of this palette is very reflective, so it was difficult to capture a good shot of it. So be warned.

(Me struggling with the fact that these photos are awful, but being too tired and too far from my camera to retake them.)

The colors of this palette have me quite excited. As the palette’s title suggests, the shades are natural and best of all: matte. The colors also appeal to me because they are very diverse and can create many different looks. The warm browns and oranges could be the perfect fit for any day-to-day look, while the blacks could work for a smoky. Diversity is such a good element to an eyeshadow palette, especially for people who frequently travel. Instead of needing multiple palettes to create different looks, “Naturally Pretty” can cover anything you may need.

Although I haven’t owned it for long, I think the pigmentation of these shadows is excellent. The colors don’t look washed out on skin, and you don’t need multiple layers in order to make them stand out. Additionally, they seem very blend-able. I don’t struggle with getting the shadows to blend together, which is an incredible time-saver.

Overall, I’m quite pleased with this It Cosmetics palette. I wouldn’t surprise me if it ended up in my next favorites post.

Have you tried It Cosmetic’s “Naturally Pretty” palette before?

Sincerely,

Paige
