I’ve recently been wearing Tarte’s “Maracuja Creaseless Concealer” and since it seems to be a popular product among the beauty community, I figured I would share my impressions of the concealer.
As usual, I’d like to give you a frame of reference by highlighting the product details. I hope this helps you gauge whether or not the product is of interest to you. This information was taken straight from Tarte’s website in order for it to be as accurate as possible.
Description: A creamy, full coverage concealer that won’t ever crease, flake or leave you wanting more.
Size: net wt 8 g /0.28 oz
Vegan Friendly: Yes
As it states in the description, this is a full coverage concealer. From my experience, the product sticks true to that claim. The formula effectively covers blemishes, redness, and any other marks I want to be hidden. It’s very buildable as well, so I feel as though I am able to play around with the concealer until it reaches the coverage level I need. I really like this aspect in a concealer, especially one I would use on a daily basis. As we all know, skin appearance changes from day-to-day. One morning, you may wake up with severe redness and under-eye circles and be in need of very full coverage, while the next day your skin is perfectly clear. It’s a constant, ever-changing struggle, so it’s nice to own a concealer that fits both of these instances.
Another reason I really enjoy this product is that it is incredible long-lasting. The maracuja concealer manages to cover my blemishes all-day, regardless of sweat or humidity. It’s especially handy on summer days spent outdoors. I like to dab on this product when I go to amusement parks because I know it will withstand the weather.
One thing I will have to caution anyone interested in this concealer about is that it doesn’t pair well with dry skin. If I forget to moisturize my face before applying this product, it clings to the dry patches. As long as I moisturize, though, it works well.
