Blogmas #17: Book Haul

Hey everyone!

Before I begin I’d like to inform you that I’m writing this post in a state of total exhaustion. The only things keeping me awake right now are two cups of coffee I’ve ingested. It wouldn’t surprise me if I fall asleep on my keyboard within the next several minutes.

The reason I am sleep deprived is because I woke up early to get some shopping done. I went out with the sole intention of buying Christmas presents, but we all know that when you go out looking for gifts for other people, you find a million things for yourself. Naturally, this happened to me. I ended up going on a little book shopping spree, so I thought I’d share the titles I purchased.

I selected a pretty random variety of novels. I think that’s the best way to expose yourself to genres you may otherwise have never thought to read. I can’t even count the number of books on a whim and absolutely loved. I’ve discovered most of my favorite novels that way.

Anyways, these are the novels I recently purchased. I don’t know anything about their plots, albeit for their summaries on their back covers, and, of course, Fantastic Beasts.

  • In Case You Missed It by Sarah Darer Littman
  • The Silver Blade by Sally Gardner
  • The Darkest Hour by Caroline Tung Richmond
  • Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (screenplay) by J.K. Rowling
  • North of Beautiful by Justina Chen Headley

I’m very excited to delve into these books over the winter holidays. Have you read any of these titles? Let me know in the comments below. I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Thanks for reading.

Sincerely yours,
