Good Moisturizers for the Winter

We all know that dry skin can be one of the worst effects of colder weather. With winter coming up in nearly a month, I thought I would share some of my favorite moisturizing products. Hopefully some of these items can help your skin stay healthy and hydrated throughout the upcoming season.

One cult favorite that I will happily give my endorsement to is the Body Shop’s Body Butter. This product works like magic on dry patches. I love to use it on my arms and legs before I go to sleep, so that I wake up with freshly revitalized skin. Not to mention that the container comes with quite a lot of product.

Another item I adore during the winter is Tarte’s Maracuja Oil. Recently I’ve been using a sample size bottle and I’m very impressed with the results. It’s a versatile product that can be applied to your hands, face, and neck. It works to freshen up your complexion and leaves skin feeling clean and bright. It’s a pricey product, but I’d strongly recommend giving the travel-sized bottle a try.

If you’ve been following this blog since it started, you may recall my love for Burt’s Bees Hibiscus Tinted Lip Balm. For me, this lip product is a winter must-have. It’s inexpensive and effective. Plus, it locks in moisture for up to eight hours.

I’ve always been a big fan of Clinique’s facial products, particularly their Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion. The product is designed for very dry skin, so it works wonders when my skin is going through a dry spell. One aspects that I especially enjoy is that it is 100% fragrance free. Powerfully scented lotions can sometimes be too much. I like having one that does its job without being too potent.

Price – $26

Size – 4.2 oz.

The final product I’d like to share is one that I have discussed before: Shiseido’s Power Infusing Concentrate. I received a sample of this product in a Birchbox several months ago. Since I started using it, I feel like my complexion has looked more lively.

Price –  $67

Size – 30 ml

As always, thank you so much for reading. I hope you find success with at least one of these products. Let me know your favorite moisturizers in the comments. I’d love to try out some new items this December!

Sincerely,

Paige
