Before I begin I’d like to apologize for the lack of posts this week. My schedule has been pretty hectic lately. In order to get something posted today, I had to write it a week in advance. While you’re reading this, I’m probably knee-deep in work. I promise I’ll get back to my regular schedule next week.
This review has been a long time coming. I received Too Faced’s “Chocolate Bar” palette as a gift several months ago, much to my excitement. As a big fan of Too Faced products, I was stoked to try out these gorgeous eyeshadows.
Packaging: The moment I spotted it at Sephora, I fell in love with this palette’s packaging. Styled like an actual chocolate bar, this fun case looks great in any makeup collection. Not to mention it’s easy to open and mess free.
Pigmentation: These shadows are vibrant and pigmented. The palette features warm browns, soft pinks, and shimmery violets. Additionally, the shades complement one another very well. I was able to create a variety of looks, which is important when you purchase an expensive palette.
Durability: With my Too Faced Shadow Insurance (if you’d like to see a review of that, please let me know), these shadows last all-day, regardless of sweat or heat.
Smell: As you probably know, one of the highlights of Too Faced’s “Chocolate Bar” palette is that it smells like chocolate. This sweet cocoa goodness is a wonderful additive to the palette.
Consensus: If my lack of cons doesn’t make it obvious, I really enjoy Too Faced’s “Chocolate Bar” palette. The shadows blend well, smell nice, and offer great pigmentation. At forty-nine dollars, this is a bit of an indulgence. But if you’re searching for a solid, versatile eyeshadow palette, I would recommend investing in it.
In other news, this blog hit 300 followers this week! I want to thank each and every one of you for clicking that follow button. Believe it or not, my goal for NOVEMBER was 300 followers. However, you amazing people got it there in OCTOBER. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Thank you so much for reading.
