September Empties 2016

It wouldn’t be the end of a month if there wasn’t some form of favorites. To cap off September, I decided to share the products that I couldn’t seem to get enough of these last thirty days.

Vasanti BrightenUp! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator:

If you read my Birchbox Review August 2016 , then you know my initial thoughts on this product were really lukewarm. But over the course of September, this facial wash became a staple of my morning routine. Its papaya, aloe, and micro-crystal formula works to wake up your skin. My face felt fresh and clean after every use.

Acure Pore Minimizing Facial Scrub (not a bad segue way, right?):

My biggest beauty-related concern of September was keeping my skin feeling clean. Something I think we all tend to forget is that it is just as important to not wear makeup as it is to wear it. Every once and awhile, skin needs to be clear all of makeup and oil. In a sense, it is how skin breathes. This Acure facial scrub completely strips your skin of excess oil and toxins. It has Moroccan red clay in it as well, which leaves skin incredibly soft.

Stila Stay All Day Liquid Eyeliner (brown):

I’ve mentioned my love for Stila’s liquid eyeliner before, but I couldn’t refrain from doing it again. It glides on quite smoothly and doesn’t wear away after only a few hours. I like to use it in brown when I’m using for a simpler look; it’s more natural and less defined.

Clean & Clear Night Relaxing Deep Cleaning Face Wash:

Clean & Clear typically creates products that work well for a low price. I’ve been a big fan of theirs for quite some time. This facial wash is a perfect addition to a night routine. It has a soothing smell that really helps decongest you before bed.

Time sure flies by. What products did you love this September? Let me know in the comments.

  1. I’ve always been curious about the Clean & Clear. It appealed to me, but my skin is oily, breakout prone, and very temperamental, but I like what you said about decongesting. I might give it a try! I’ve always like Clean & Clear products as well. Great post! =)
