Hey!
Before I dive into the eclectic (and somewhat strange) contents of my purse, I’d like to welcome my newest followers to my blog! It means so much to me that you’re reading what I write. Seriously. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
As you can probably guess from the title of this entry, today I’ll be taking you through my handbag must-haves. I’m going to be real here for a minute though; not every item I’ve listed here is in my bag 24/7. Quite honestly, the majority of them aren’t. In fact, when I emptied my crossbody to make this post, I came across this travesty.

Before you continue reading, let this hand sanitizer/movie ticket stub/crumpled up receipts/expired coupons mess sink in. The majority of the time, my purse is an uncharted nuclear wasteland. A few times a month, however, I gut this disaster scene and fill it with my favorite items.
To begin, let’s take a peek of the bag itself. My purse is a small fringed crossbody from Target. I picked it up on clearance for about twelve dollars (super fancy, I know). Although it’s not Coach or Prada quality, it’s a dependable bag. I own several purses, but this is the one I always find myself reaching for. Its compact size makes it easy for travel, and it matches everything.
Now let’s head into the bag…
One item that I will admit typically stays in this purse is a portable phone charger. My phone goes from 100% battery life to 0% battery life in record time. If battery draining was an Olympic sport, it would always win the gold. Needless to say, a charger is something I always need to have with me.

Another product I keep on me at all times is hand sanitizer. I have a strange obsession with hand sanitizer. It’s one of my favorite things to buy. In case you didn’t check out my “How To ‘Pinterest’ Your Room” post *indiscreetly winks*, then here is some proof:

Anyways, sanitizer is always good to carry, especially during cold and flu season. It kills germs and–as an added bonus–smells heavenly.
Since I just mentioned fragrances, now is the best time to bring up perfume (excuse the cheesy segue way). I love keeping travel-sized perfume rollers at my side, because you never know when you’ll want a spritz. My favorite is “Dot” by Marc Jacobs.
In the summer months, you’ll never find me without a pair of shades in my bag. Sunglasses are a functional and stylish accessory, making them nice to have around. In addition, I tend to keep a lipstick in purse. The color changes with the season, of course, but my current love is Mac’s “Fanfare”.
Another couple of additives that are handy to have in your handbag (alliteration!) are hair ties and bobby pins. Whenever I have flyaway hairs–which is pretty often–I enjoy being able to reach into my bag and find something to pin them down. I keep these tucked in a little makeup bag, because they can be a pain to scour the bottom of your purse for.
The last product I keep in my bag at all times is a pack of mints. This item is fairly self-explanatory. What can I say? I like to have fresh breath.
I hope you enjoyed this post. Thanks for reading.
Sincerely yours,
Paige
