Favorite Concealers

Greetings Internet!

Over the past few of weeks, I’ve been experimenting with different concealers to determine what formula is my all-time favorite. I thought it would be interesting if I wrote little reviews about each of the products I tested.

Too Faced Absolutely Flawless Concealer- When I bought this concealer, I’ll admit I was skeptical. Despite Too Faced’s massive following in the beauty community, I hadn’t heard anything about this product. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the results of this concealer. The flexible coverage formula works well to reduce redness with just the tiniest glop. It blends without creasing and refrains from making your skin appear oily. I will definitely repurchase this, especially if I have to go anywhere hot and humid.

Tarte Maracuja Creaseless Concealer- Unlike Too Faced’s Absolutely Flawless Concealer, I had read a plethora of reviews about this Tarte product before I purchased it. In fact, when I went into Sephora to pick it up, the saleswoman told me this was her favorite concealer. While I love the coverage it provides, the formula feels somewhat dense on my skin. Although I wish it felt a bit lighter, this is a quality product. It conceals everything.

MAC Pro Longwear Concealer- I believe I mentioned this product in a favorites post, but it never hurts to reiterate how incredible this concealer is. The formula is light and airy; it doesn’t feel like it’s weighing you down. In addition, a small amount significantly reduces redness. (Needless to say, I love this product.)

Rating: 50,000/5 (I’m obnoxious, I know)

Benefit Boing Concealer and Instant Eye Brightener- When I picked this little duo up at Ulta, I felt pretty ambivalent. While I wasn’t thrilled with the Boing concealer (it doesn’t blend very), I was satisfied with the eye brightener. After I applied the pale pink product, my under eye circles instantly diminished. This was a monumental feat. Trust me. I am the queen of raccoon eyes.

Rating: 4/5

I sincerely thank you for reading.

Sincerely yours,
